Structure Engineering Management
Overview and Responsibilities
The Structure Engineering Management is responsible for reviewing and developing the organizational structure of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) headquarters and its subsidiary companies, as well as providing specialized organizational consulting services to divested and affiliated companies.
Its key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and evaluating the organizational structures of NIORDC and its subsidiary companies.
- Conducting organizational and structural studies based on systems management principles and industrial engineering methodologies.
- Designing organizational structures; defining, classifying, and allocating activities based on business processes, management systems, work methods, and operational standards; and preparing organizational charts commensurate with the scope and volume of activities.
- Defining authorities, responsibilities, and organizational accountabilities in line with approved objectives and strategic plans.
- Studying, reviewing, preparing, and approving job descriptions, and determining the scope of authorities and responsibilities associated with organizational positions.
- Analyzing job descriptions, evaluating job grades and qualification requirements, and ensuring consistency and alignment of job classifications through the Joint Committee for Job Classification and Evaluation of the Oil Industry.
- Participating in studies and economic evaluations of activities that may be outsourced to third parties and providing the necessary recommendations.
- Reviewing, developing, and improving work methods and procedures, while ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the Company's operational and service systems.
