General Assemblies Affairs

The General Assemblies Affairs Department is an independent headquarters unit of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) and operates under the direct supervision of the Deputy Minister of Petroleum and Managing Director of the Company. The Department is responsible for coordinating the convening of General Assembly meetings of NIORDC and its subsidiary companies; providing financial, tax, legal, and commercial advisory services aimed at safeguarding the interests of subsidiary companies; monitoring compliance with company statutes and regulations; overseeing matters related to company amendments, dissolution, and liquidation; reviewing profit and loss positions; and analyzing and preparing expert reports on the compliance of meeting minutes and resolutions with applicable laws and regulations. The Department also provides advisory services to the management of subsidiary companies in areas such as corporate governance, finance, taxation, commercial affairs, capital markets, and securities exchange matters.
