Overview

The Research and Technology Management of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC), in line with the directives of Imam Khomeini (RA), the guidance of the Supreme Leader, the Vision 2025 Document, Article 44 of the Constitution, the Fifth Five-Year Development Plan of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Ministry of Petroleum's research and technology framework, the Company's strategic objectives, and efforts to mitigate the effects of international sanctions, has developed research priorities and national strategic projects aimed at advancing technological capabilities and supporting the sustainable development of Iran’s refining and petroleum distribution industry.

These priorities and strategic initiatives focus on problem-solving, technological self-sufficiency, localization of knowledge and technologies, product development, competitiveness, commercialization, job creation, and the generation of economic value for the petroleum industry.

The Management has actively supported research projects required by subsidiary companies, organized numerous technical and scientific meetings with university experts and researchers, sponsored postgraduate theses aligned with research priorities, conducted conferences and seminars, and continuously expanded scientific information and library resources.
