To develop and provide secure, reliable, and sustainable infrastructure, services, software applications, information systems, and hardware solutions in order to facilitate and support the Company's business operations.

- Ensure comprehensive security and stability across communication infrastructures, technical platforms, and related domains.
- Monitor emerging ICT technologies worldwide and update the organization's vision and objectives to support strategic ICT planning.

Major ICT Activities of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC)
The major activities undertaken by NIORDC during the current year include:
- Increasing Internet bandwidth and providing Internet access services to all refineries, subsidiary companies, and the Tehran headquarters.
- Expanding the use of electronic mail (email) systems across refineries and subsidiary companies.
- Establishing high-speed E1/2 Mbps communication links between all refineries and the Tehran headquarters, and implementing a video conferencing system connecting all refineries with the central office.
- Developing internal networks and Campus LAN infrastructures at headquarters, refineries, and subsidiary companies.
- Developing corporate websites and information portals for all subsidiaries, refineries, headquarters departments, and management units (currently operating 22 official information portals across NIORDC for information dissemination and service delivery).
- Defining the scope and specifications of the Company's Management Information System (MIS) and taking steps toward its implementation.
- Implementing office automation systems (electronic organization systems) across all subsidiaries, refineries, and headquarters.
- Deploying computerized systems across subsidiaries, refineries, and headquarters, including:

- HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Management System
- Attendance and Time Management System
- Technical Laboratory Information System

- Digitizing technical document archives across all refineries and subsidiary companies.
- Automating recruitment-related processes, veterans' affairs services, and customer service initiatives.
- Establishing a corporate portal to facilitate information sharing and support daily business activities through electronic access to news, scientific publications, regulations, articles, meeting minutes, and other organizational resources.
- Expanding the use of interactive voice response (IVR) systems and public communication services.
- Planning and implementing an Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on the BS 7799 standard and enhancing network security.
- Implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS) within ICT units in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 standards.
- Developing digital library and information management software for technical libraries and information centers across subsidiaries, refineries, and headquarters.
- Procuring engineering software packages for design, simulation, and process optimization purposes (such as MT-EXCH, TANK, II CAESAR, and CADWorx/P&ID).
- Implementing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for refinery maintenance operations.
- Developing and deploying an employee suggestion management system in distribution regions to collect suggestions electronically and accelerate review and implementation processes.
- Modernizing network infrastructure and hardware systems and providing computer equipment to all personnel requiring access to ICT services.
- Implementing automated weighbridge systems to improve customer satisfaction and enhance the accuracy of weighing, recording, and data retention processes.
- Providing employee training programs and professional development courses to enhance ICT-related technical competencies.
- Recruiting highly qualified professionals and top university graduates for ICT-related positions.
